Pastor Carl Busse
Our Savior Lutheran Church welcomes Pastor Carl Busse as our vacancy pastor. He was installed to serve our congregation earlier this month. Pastor Busse graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1981, and was ordained to be the first full time pastor of a church in Kenai, Alaska. He subsequently served in two dual parishes, one in Washington State and then one in Wisconsin.
Currently retired, he serves as a vacancy pastor in churches that are in the process of calling their next full-time pastor.
Pastor Busse says, “I really enjoy bringing spiritual refreshment to the family of God in our confessional Lutheran churches.”
Pastor Busse lives with his family in Amherst, Ohio.
Our Savior Lutheran Church serves the Strongsville, Middleburg Heights and surrounding community with Christian worship and ministry. Throughout the years we have considered it our mission to be part of bringing Christ to the people of metropolitan Cleveland. Like you, we face the seemingly endless grind of chores and responsibilities. But our place of worship offers us a much needed break to refresh ourselves with the comfort of God’s eternal love. Bible Study and our mid-week Bible Class help to reinforce the truths of God’s Word.
Our Savior Lutheran Church:
- Grants a ministry by the pastor of counseling, encouragement, and guidance for those in need.
- Conducts positive, uplifting, Sunday morning worship services and Sunday morning Bible study.
- Offers mid-week Bible study.
- Has opportunities to add your vision to our ministry.
- Is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), a church body with congregations in all 50 states and many foreign countries.
If you have no church home, or are searching for one, we offer ours to you. If you are already active in a church family, we pray that your Christ-centered faith be strengthened.
